Once Upon a Spine is launching as a discovery-led independent bookstore: curated shelves, reading moods, book club paths, and recommendations with a human point of view.

The first version is online-only and books-only. That keeps the business focused while supplier workflows, customer demand, and the future physical bookstore dream are tested carefully.

Orders are fulfilled through approved book partners. At launch, supplier availability is checked manually before fulfillment so the store can avoid pretending it owns inventory it does not hold.
